My sincere appreciation to the organiser, Persatuan Pengamal Digital Multimedia Sibu (诗巫数码多媒体业者公会), for the kind invitation to participate in the Biggest E-Commerce & Digital Economy Conference in Sarawak — NEDEC.
It was truly an honour to be part of such a significant event that brings together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and technology practitioners to discuss the future of the digital economy.
During the conference, I had the privilege of contributing in two ways. First, as one of the keynote speakers, where I shared insights on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the digital economy and redefining how businesses operate in today’s increasingly competitive environment.

In addition, I conducted a two-day workshop on AI and E-Commerce, focusing on practical applications that businesses can implement immediately. The workshop explored how AI can support various aspects of e-commerce operations, including data analysis, automation, content creation, and improving customer engagement.
One of the key messages I emphasised throughout the sessions is that the digital economy is no longer driven solely by online presence. Today, success increasingly depends on how effectively organisations leverage data, automation, and intelligent systems to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Artificial Intelligence has become a powerful enabler for businesses to scale faster, optimise workflows, and unlock new opportunities within the digital marketplace.
Events like NEDEC play an important role in accelerating this transformation by providing a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and practical learning for businesses and professionals across the region.
I would also like to commend the organising team for delivering such a well-executed and impactful event. The effort and coordination behind a conference of this scale are never simple, and it was encouraging to see such strong participation and enthusiasm from attendees.
On a personal note, continuous invitations from government bodies, ministries, organisations, companies, and institutions to speak and share knowledge are something I deeply appreciate. To me, these invitations represent a meaningful form of recognition — an acknowledgment that the knowledge and experiences shared are creating real value and positive impact for society.
I look forward to future opportunities to continue contributing to conversations around AI, digital transformation, and the growth of the digital economy.
