I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS) Santubong for the kind invitation to deliver a two-day training session on Power BI and Data Management.
The session provided a valuable opportunity to discuss not only the technical aspects of data management, but also how the role of data has fundamentally changed in today’s AI-driven world.
During the training, we explored how Power BI can transform raw data into meaningful insights, enabling organisations to visualise trends, monitor performance, and make informed decisions more effectively. For many organisations, the challenge is not the lack of data — it is knowing how to structure, manage, and interpret that data properly.
If your organisation is sitting on valuable data but struggling to turn it into actionable insights, explore how our AI automation solutions can help you structure, analyse, and scale smarter decisions.
Beyond dashboards and reporting tools, I also shared how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the way we work with data.

One key message I emphasised throughout the session was simple but powerful:
Data is the fuel that powers AI.
Without structured, reliable data, even the most advanced AI systems cannot deliver meaningful insights. AI models rely on data to learn patterns, generate predictions, and support decision-making. In other words, the quality of AI outcomes will always depend on the quality of the data that feeds it.
This is why organisations must start viewing data not just as records or reports, but as strategic assets.
By improving data management practices — from collection and storage to analysis and visualisation — organisations can unlock new opportunities to integrate AI into their workflows and decision-making processes.
I would also like to extend my special appreciation to the staff at CENTEXS Santubong for the warm hospitality and support throughout the two days. A particular thank you to Mr Dickson for the kindness and coordination that made the session run smoothly, and to Ms Faheezah for taking the time to meet and engage in meaningful discussions.
Experiences like this remind us how important collaboration is between training institutions, industry practitioners, and technology leaders as we work together to prepare the workforce for the data-driven and AI-enabled economy.
It was truly one of my most memorable engagements with CENTEXS, and I look forward to future opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
