My sincere appreciation to the entire community of SMK Julau for the kind invitation to share insights on Artificial Intelligence in Education with fellow educators. I would especially like to thank Principal Cikgu Madline, Cikgu Daniel, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) Julau, the dedicated staff from the PPD Julau office, representatives from SMK Pakan, SMK Julau 2, and all the teachers of SMK Julau for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation.

Sessions like this highlight an important shift taking place within our education system. More schools are beginning to explore how emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence can enhance teaching, learning, and academic preparation for the future.

During the session, we discussed how AI can serve as a powerful support tool for educators. When used responsibly and strategically, AI can help teachers create teaching materials more efficiently, organise knowledge resources, and design learning activities that better engage students.

The aim is not to replace the role of teachers, but to empower educators with digital tools that enhance their ability to guide and inspire students.

This engagement with SMK Julau is only the beginning of a broader initiative. The next step will involve conducting another programme on AI in Education, this time focusing on students from SMK Julau, allowing them to directly explore how these technologies can support their learning journey.

Introducing AI awareness at both the teacher and student levels is essential as we prepare the next generation for a future where digital technologies will play an increasingly central role in society and the workforce.

Efforts like these represent a positive movement toward building a more innovative, technology-enabled education ecosystem. By embracing tools such as AI, schools can create learning environments that are not only more efficient but also more engaging and future-ready.

I sincerely hope that this initiative contributes meaningfully to expanding awareness of how AI can be applied within education and inspires educators and students alike to explore the possibilities of technology-driven learning.

Once again, thank you to SMK Julau and the wider educational community involved in this programme for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation.
